This morning, Sunday March 1st, the
forecast called for 1-3 inches of snow...and it actually happened! They cancelled church today and closed the interstate for a little while. At our house, we probably had about 3 inches of snow. It was great snowball snow.
The roads were clear and not slushy. There was a little bit of slickness on the bridges and overpasses.
Downtown
Trussville, was pretty and there were lots of kids out making snowmen and throwing snowballs.
What a great day! It is now 4pm, the sun is out and the snow is melting fast. That how the weather goes in Alabama. It is going to be 70 on Wednesday...
